We Believe... Jesus Christ is the God-Man, who paid mankind's full penalty for sin when He died on the cross of Calvary. Any person, who in simple faith (faith alone in Christ alone), trusts in the resurrected Jesus as his or her only hope of heaven, refusing to trust in anything else, receives the gift of eternal life, which, once given, can never be lost. Lacey Chapel is a Conservative Baptist local church that believes in the historic doctrines of the faith. In light of that belief our desire is to teach the Bible accurately, while encouraging each other in the faith, and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost world which surrounds us. We believe the Bible is God's word. It reveals God, His gracious gift of eternal life through the death of His Son, the wonderful blessings that God has given to believers, how to live the Christian life, our future hope in Christ, and many other essential biblical truths. Our services center on the teaching of the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures. Our Sunday School classes and Connection groups (cell groups) include verse by verse studies of the Word and other doctrinal issues. Our beliefs about the future times include the Pre-tribulation Rapture of the church and the Premillennial return of Jesus Christ. We believe in dispensational theology. We believe that diligent study of God's Word enables believers to live holy lives.
